EXPOGAST

The world famous gastronomic event!

In 1972, the Vatel Club Luxembourg organized the first gastronomy, culinary art and pastry fair at the Casino of the European Parliament.

Then the editions followed one another every 4 years: first at the Municipal Circle of the City of Luxembourg and since 1978 at the International Fair in Luxembourg-Kirchberg under the name EXPOGAST.

Until the 2022 EXPOGAST

Since the 1986 edition, the Vatel Club has organized the Culinary World Cup, one of the biggest and most important cooking competitions in the world which enjoys an excellent reputation internationally.

EXPOGAST materializes, every 4 years, a true art of living: the food and gastronomy professions are essential to enriching life and heritage.

The objectives of EXPOGAST

Allow visitors to discover new trends in the gastronomy sector
Encourage economic exchanges with the Greater Region
Allow participants to expand their clientele
Go to meet young professionals working in Luxembourg and of all nationalities in order to ensure the link between the generations and to prepare for the future
Take advantage of the extraordinary showcase offered by an event of this scale and its media coverage to give a boost to the entire sector
Emphasize the importance of the social, cultural and economic role of the gastronomy sector

EXPOGAST is an event in many ways:

a gathering place for the most talented chefs from five continents,
a trade fair for the gastronomic professions and at the same time
an all-round event for the public on food and drink,
and a world-renowned international cooking competition.
